ROMEO +++ JULIET
Artur, a Barcelona-based digital garment designer and self-proclaimed emotional terrorist, challenged me to capture his latest streetwear collection with zero budget for a massive crew or heavy post-production, leaving us with just a raw skatepark, two models and a camera.

The Approach
Both Artur and I share an obsession with exterior flash photography and its power to violently transform a mundane space into a high-fashion set. We scouted until we found a neglected skatepark that perfectly matched the collection’s grit. Rather than treating the clothes as protagonists, the goal was for the models to inhabit them entirely, letting the garments bleed into a larger narrative. By utilizing the chaotic, geometric structures of the skatepark as raw compositional elements, we turned a stripped-back, run-and-gun shoot into an editorial story with teeth.
