RIZOMAS SALVAJES
Directed by Lucas Sogas and produced by ESCAC, this short film follows a group of nightclub workers who, pushed to their limits by exploitation, choose to fight back. Their revolt unfolds as a surreal dance between techno-fueled resistance and the organic, entangled chaos of a underground network growing, spreading and refusing to be silenced. The visual identity needed to capture this raw exploration of collective action, self-defense and the violent tension between workers and those who are in charge.

The Approach
We developed the film’s full visual identity for both online and social presence, covering posters, logos, typography and promotional imagery. The core challenge was translating complex, horizontal social networks and collective upheaval into a striking and cohesive design system without being overly literal. Creating the identity meant first questioning how a rhizome should actually manifest. After studying hundreds of images of root structures and underground systems, we realized a literal illustration wasn't the answer. Instead, we embedded the concept directly into the title, inserting the rhizome as a distressed negative space that physically grows within and breaks apart the "Rizomas Salvajes" wordmark.

To anchor the project in the world of nocturnal resistance, we utilized harsh texturing and high-contrast color palettes. We paired this with a raw, sprayed-on typographic style, making it feel as though the film's characters had directly spray-painted the titles onto the posters themselves.
